Reservations and Seating
Q. Do I need an appointment? Can I enter without an appointment?

You can enter the restaurant without a reservation, but there may be no vacancies. We have to prepare for the event, so it is better to make a reservation in advance to ensure a smooth tour of the restaurant and to secure a seat.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Do you have counter seats or private rooms?

There is no counter seating. Private rooms can be reserved for a minimum of 7 persons. We charge 10% of the total amount of the private room fee.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Is smoking allowed inside the restaurant? Is there a place where I can smoke?

Smoking is not permitted. Please go to the smoking area nearby.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Do you offer English-language services? Do you have an English menu?


We have English menus and staff who speak some English, so we can accommodate your needs.

Q. What is the difference between the two?How is the atmosphere in the restaurant? (Calm atmosphere, Japanese decor, etc.)

The restaurant is mainly wooden in Japanese style, and there is ample space for dining. The second restaurant, Hanare, has a private room and is suitable for dinners and entertainment.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Do you offer course meals? What is the menu?

We have a variety of dishes. We use a lot of throat tuna in our courses, including a big one weighing more than 500 grams in the throat tuna course.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Do you have any other dishes besides throat grouper? (e.g. fresh fish, meat dishes, etc.)

We are a restaurant specializing in throat grouper, so we basically do not serve it.

Q. What is the difference between the two?What are the characteristics of "Benihitu" throatfish?

This is a brand name throatfish caught off the coast of Tsushima, Nagasaki. We do not use it in our restaurant, but you can enjoy it at our third restaurant, Nodoguro Specialty Restaurant.

Q. What is the difference between the two?What are the different ways to cook Nodoguro? (Grilled, shabu-shabu, sashimi, etc.)

Sashimi, salted and grilled, shabu-shabu, and earthenware pot with rice are available.
Boiled, fried, or seared is also recommended.

Q. What is the difference between the two?What dishes do you recommend using Nodoguro?

Salt-baked and earthenware rice pots are the most recommended.

Q. What is the difference between the two?Can you also enjoy side dishes such as earthenware rice and satsuma-age?

We are not currently doing this. There are no plans to reopen.
